Third Visit 2014 - Giggles and Sparks Trailers

After getting our tickets we walked by my favorite dog and then Giggles Campfire Grill. Giggles is where I had the excellent walleye mac and cheese a couple of days ago. The inflatable dog is at the Sparks Trailers stand. The guy there told me I wasn't allowed the take a picture of the dog. I asked why and he laughed and said, "because it's classified."

State Fair Foods - Walleye Mac & Cheese

The Walleye Mac & Cheese is new from Giggles' Campfire Grill located on Cooper St. and Lee Ave. in The North Woods.

The State Fair website describes it as:

"An Iron Range portion of fresh-smoked walley with sweet corn kernels and roasted red peppers atop a bed of cavatappi noodles - all smothered in Giggles' secret smoked Gouda sauce and toasted with Parmesan parsley bread crumbs."

Food 2012 - Classic Walleye Roll

There's even more food I'd like to try this year.  Pictured above is the Classic Walleye Roll. It's fresh walleye served chilled with Minnesota wild rice and minced celery.  This one's offered by Giggles' Campfire Grill which is located at Cooper Street and Lee Avenue.
